Should Believers Be Evangelizing?
"And He (Jesus) said to them, 'Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature' " (Mark 16:15 BSB).
"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20 BSB).
Throughout the years we have heard a lot of good Bible teaching, but have often found that how to evangelize is rarely ever taught in churches. Because sharing with loved ones and others can be fearful and difficult, and because we often feel so unequipped on how to share, evangalizm is often left out of the lives of many believers. At times we may feel that it is just better if we do not share with others, because we feel that when we do, it just offends people and pushes them further away. However, Christ clearly calls believers to be sharing the message of the gospel with the world, that through hearing the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ, people might believe and be saved.
"Then He (Jesus) said to His disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest' "(Matthew 9:37-38 BSB).

Encouragement in Witnessing For Christ
Evangelism can be a difficult thing to do, but we as believers are called to do it based on Mark 16:15. Giving out tracts or putting them in public restrooms and other places can be a means of God using someone for the gospel. We once heard a story of someone who dug a Bible tract out of the trash in a public restroom and came to know the Lord. Here are some other encouraging stories of things believers have done in witnessing that made a difference in someone's life for eternity.
